Promoters and Organisers

These Terms of Service for Promoters and Organisers govern your use of the services provided by Bookify Technology FZC through the website https://bookifyevents.com/ . By accessing or using the Site and its associated services to create, promote, or manage events, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site or our services.
1.1 Bookify Technology FZC provides event management services, including event creation, promotion, ticketing, and registration for organisers and promoters through the Site. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
1.2 United Arab Emirates (UAE) is our country of domicile, and these Terms are governed by the laws of the UAE. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site or Services will be resolved under the laws of the UAE.
2.1 Account Registration: To use our Services, Promoters and Organisers must create an account on the Site. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You agree to update your information promptly if it changes.
2.2 Age Requirement: Promoters and Organisers must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. By creating an account and using the Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
2.3 Authorized Users: If you are representing a business or organisation, you must have the authority to bind the organisation to these Terms.
3.1 Event Creation and Management: You are responsible for creating, managing, and promoting events using the Bookify platform. This includes providing accurate event details, including but not limited to event name, description, location, date, pricing, and any other necessary information.
3.2 Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations in relation to the creation, promotion, and management of your event. This includes but is not limited to:
3.3 Content Ownership: You retain ownership of any content you submit or upload to the Site, including event details, promotional material, images, logos, and videos. However, by submitting content, you grant Bookify a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute this content on the Site and through related promotional channels for the purpose of promoting your event.
3.4 Event Promotion and Marketing: You are solely responsible for the promotion and marketing of your events. While Bookify may provide promotional tools, you are responsible for ensuring that any marketing content is accurate, legal, and compliant with these Terms and applicable laws.
4.1 Event Pricing and Fees: You must specify the pricing for your event, including any tickets, VIP access, or other paid services. You are responsible for ensuring that the prices you set are correct and comply with applicable regulations. Any changes to the pricing after the event has been posted may require approval from Bookify.
4.2 Payment Collection: Bookify facilitates payment processing through Visa, MasterCard, and other methods supported on the Site. We collect payments on your behalf for ticket sales, registrations, and other event-related fees. Payments will be processed through Bookify's secure third-party payment provider.
4.3 Transaction Fees: For each transaction processed through the Site, Bookify may charge a service fee, which will be deducted from the total amount received for your event. The specific fee structure will be detailed on the Site. You are responsible for any additional taxes or charges related to your event.
4.4 Settlement: After deducting applicable fees, Bookify will transfer the funds to the bank account or payment method specified by you, based on the payment schedule outlined in the platform. Please refer to our Payment Policy for more details on fund transfer timelines.
5.1 Event Cancellations: As a Promoter or Organiser, you must clearly state your cancellation and refund policies at the time of event creation. Any changes to your event, including cancellation, must be communicated to customers in a timely manner.
5.2 Refunds: You are responsible for issuing refunds for cancelled or postponed events, as per your event’s refund policy. Bookify may assist in processing refunds but is not liable for the outcome of such transactions.
5.3 No Refunds for Completed Transactions: Once an event is completed or tickets are used, refunds are generally not offered unless required by law or as agreed upon by Bookify.

7.1 Limitation on Event-related Liability: While Bookify provides tools and services for event management, we do not take responsibility for any issues related to the event itself, including but not limited to:
7.2 No Guarantee of Success: We do not guarantee any specific results or outcomes from using our platform, including ticket sales or event attendance.
8.1 Bookify’s IP: All rights, titles, and interest in the Site, including all content, software, designs, trademarks, and other intellectual property, are owned by Bookify Technology FZC. You may not use, modify, or distribute any of Bookify's intellectual property without express written consent.
8.2 Your IP: You retain ownership of any intellectual property you submit to the Site, such as event names, logos, and promotional materials, but you grant Bookify a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute these materials for the purpose of promoting your event.
9.1 Privacy Policy: Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and that of your attendees. By using our Services, you consent to our privacy practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
9.2 Data Handling: As a Promoter or Organiser, you are responsible for ensuring that any personal data collected during the event registration process complies with applicable data protection laws. You agree to comply with all applicable privacy laws when collecting, storing, and processing customer information.
10.1 Indemnification by Organiser: You agree to indemnify and hold Bookify, its employees, partners, and affiliates harmless from any claim, loss, damage, liability, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your event, and any content you submit.
11.1 Termination by Bookify: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate any of these Terms, engage in fraudulent activities, or if we believe your actions are harmful to the integrity of the Site.
11.2 Termination by You: You may terminate your use of the Services at any time by discontinuing use of the Site. However, any obligations or liabilities incurred prior to termination will remain in effect.
12.1 Force Majeure: We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or internet disruptions.
12.2 Amendments: We reserve the right to modify or amend these Terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on the Site, and the effective date will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of these changes.
